He, however, called on the government to support entrepreneurship organisations with good track records.
In his address, AYE National Head, Mr. Olubunmi Oluwadare expressed dissatisfaction on government response towards entrepreneurs. He advised the government to create an enabling infrastructural program for entrepreneurs while urging banks to grant loans with less complicating procedures.
“An average Nigerian man or woman has an entrepreneurship zeal, and this the first attribute of an entrepreneur. If you go to the street you will a lot of people selling pure water running after fifty naira. This shows that the spirit is there already.
In Bornu State, the youth that ought to be empowered, are now empowering themselves to fight the government. Therefore government should create and enabling environment put infrastructure in place and creates a policy. Also the bank which is the engine room of building an entrepreneur should be restructured”.
